Secondary English/HASS Teaching Opportunity in Regional South Australia (Mid-North South Australia)
Switch Education is currently working with a regional R-9 Catholic school to find a Middle school English/ HASS teacher with a passion for education and a desire to become a part of friendly regional community. The school is in a mid-north South Australian town small enough to experience all that a tight-knit community has to offer, and close enough to Adelaide that you can comfortably come back for weekends.
Experience teaching English and HASS is essential. Although not essential and experience teaching Visual Arts or Food technology would be preferred.
Ideally the school is looking to fill this position for terms 2,3 , and 4 of 2024, beginning in week 1, (29/4/2024).
The following relocation incentives would also be available to successful candidates:
- Removal Expenses – The school will cover relocation expenses.
- Country Establishment Allowance – This is available for any teacher in their first appointment to a country school. It is the equivalent of one extra week’s salary per term.
- Accommodation Assistance – The school will work with successful applicants to help them find suitable housing.

Secondary Science Teaching Opportunity in Regional South Australia (Eyre Peninsula)
Switch Education is currently working with a regional R-12 Catholic school to find a Secondary Science teacher with a passion for education and a desire to become a part of friendly regional community.
Experience in middle and secondary science is essential with Stage 1 and 2 experience highly desirable. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent.
Although we understand that relocation could possibly take some time, the school is looking for a teacher who is able to start as soon as possible.
The following relocation incentives would also be available to successful candidates.
1.Removal Expenses: The school will pay 100% of removal costs, provided you follow the below procedure:
- Three quotes must be obtained from three different removalist business’ (all three quotes will need to be provided to the school).
- You will then engage and organise a removalist to move your equipment (being the cheapest removalist unless there is a reasonable reason for choosing otherwise).
- You will then provide the school with the three quotes and the removalist invoice, the school will then pay your removalist fees.
2.Country Establishment Allowance
- This allowance is paid in two lump sums, 50% at the beginning of your employment, and 50% at the completion of your first year. The grant paid equates to a gross equivalent to 4 weeks pay.
- You can only receive this allowance once, if you have previously received it from working at a country Catholic school, you will not be entitled to the allowance.
- No action is required from your end, our payroll team will ensure payments are made as required if applicable.
3.Rental Subsidy
- The school is offering to provide $80 per week rent subsidy for your first year of relocation, total value being $4,160.

Position Overview:
In your role as an Education Executive Consultant, you will play a crucial part in nurturing relationships with schools to fill executive leadership roles. You will report to the General Manager, collaborate with the Client Liaison Consultant, and our team of Education Experts within the executive division. Your leadership experience in schools will be instrumental in grasping the distinctive requirements of our client educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO, General Manager, and Client Liaison Consultant to establish and nurture relationships with schools.
- Identify and understand the requirements for executive leadership positions within the non-government education sector.
- Utilise your leadership background in schools to effectively communicate and connect with potential candidates.
